Every year during week 10, the entire campsite area is filled with sled dogs and their owners during the event Polar Distans. This is Northern Europe’s toughest sled dog race for purebred polar dogs (Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, Greenland Dog, and Samoyed).
